Getting Closer

Ok, so by now you may be wondering "who are you going with?" The answer would be NO ONE. Yep, just me and the open road. But wait! I am going with someone, and not just a single someone...an entire road crew!!

Allow me to introduce you...

This is Erica Bon Fallsmarth. She is a veteran to this whole "travel the country on a road trip." She accompanied my sisters and me on a road trip to Vancouver. She came from a little old place called Mickey D's. She was lonely in that kids meal that I ate scarfed with my older sister before a night out on the town. She dove right in manning control of my dashboard and hasn't left since.

Next up is Walter
Walter (the Whale, clever right?) comes from a long line of painted whale/dolphin figurines in my possession. He came to me as a gift from my mother (Mumsey). I believe she collected him at a garage sale somewhere in Cambridge...She knows I love whales and sea life of any kind, so of course she would select the most colorful of all! He only recently joined the road crew as speedometer monitor (I have a tendency to speed a lot) and he keeps me in check. He and Erica are best of friends and hang out when the car is not running.

The newest edition to the crew is Lucille Celeste (also know as LC)...

Don't tell the others but she is my FAVORITE for now! She is brand spanking new and tells me everything I need to know about finding food, gas, and most importantly BEER!
Side bar: You will start to notice that I love beer and if it weren't illegal, I would have an open bottle of beer as my commander in the "crew." There is nothing like an ice cold beer!

Lucille is going to direct me places while RED, the most important member of the crew, takes me places!

Red. She's beautiful. That is all I can say, and there are times when we have disagreements, but she truly is the car that drives my heart where it wants to go. Without her, there is no road trip, and she isn't getting any younger, so Wednesday better get here quick!
Pretty good looking road crew if I do say so myself, now its just time to get this thing into action!
We are completing a test run up to Fargo for the weekend to celebrate a friends birthday and say our last goodbyes...and yes there will be pictorial evidence!

Until next time...

  1. I am so glad you asked, because the random person walking down the street should be recognized for their amazing pictographic capturing ability
